About Natalie

Natalie has been dancing since the age of 5 competing both nationally and internationally for the past 20 years. Originally competing in all 3 styles, Natalie chose to specialise in Ballroom Standard and Australian New Vogue at 16, but the Latin American rhythms have never once left her body!

With a countless amount of Australian and Australasian titles to her name, Natalie went on to become a finalist at the Lion City Singapore International Amateur Standard Championships 2000.

In 2005, Natalie’s successful career in dance led to her being asked to join the cast of
BURN THE FLOOR, in their new world sensation stage show FLOORPLAY. Together with Stefano Olivieri she toured to over 17 different cities across 3 continents, to countries as far as England, Korea, Taiwan, Japan and China impressing audiences of up to 8000 people per night!

Natalie enjoyed this experience immensely and learnt considerably from the shows Directors and Producers Jason Gilkison, Peta Roby and Harley Medcalf. Touring and performing in such an amazing show requires dedication and hard work beyond belief, but will always remain one of Natalie’s most memorable times of her life. In fact she loved it so much, Natalie often refers to her fellow cast members as family and looks forward to working again soon with them all.

After partnering up with Stefano, Natalie’s original intentions were to perform only in shows and musicals, or at events and special occasions. However after 3 months and a great connection with one another, the competitive bug was far too strong to fight!

Competing professionally now for close to 3 years, Natalie is delighted to have won the

2005 Australian Professional New Vogue Championships
2006 Australian Professional New Vogue Championships and the
2007 South Pacific Professional New Vogue Championships

Natalie is most likely noted for her elegant performances and appearance on the smash hit Australian show, DANCING WITH THE STARS series 1 & 2, were she partnered Matt Shervington and Ian Roberts
respectively. In late November of 2006 together with AFL legend Anthony Koutafides, Natalie won series 5.

February 2007 saw Natalie finally break her pattern of being partnered with sports men and personalities when she graced our screens yet again in series 6, with
Home And Away’s Tim Campbell.

Although tipped to win yet another season, the pair achieved 3rd place and loved every moment they spent together representing and raising money for their chosen charity, THE AUSTRALIAN KIDNEY FOUNDATION.
